Our Organization Structure 


Team AAB basically consists of people from various professions, working together to bring a change and help restore peace, tolerance and complete democracy in Pakistan. The AAB organizational structure consists of four major components: The Chairperson or President, The Executive Committee, Working Committee and Volunteers. The Executive Committee oversees AAB programs and shall be responsible for this project.

The AAB organizational structure consists of four major components:
 
1. Chairperson / President
 
The President of the Organization heads the Executive Committee, With the participation of the executive team, meets regularly with senior company leadership to make sure that decisions the organization needs are well-thought out and timely. Uses this team to spread ideas and direction throughout the organization until every employee understands their expected role and responsibilities for contribution. AAB’s Constitution requires that the President:
 
  • Preside at meetings of the General Assembly and the Executive Committee and direct the discussions;
  • Ensure that the activities of the Organization are in conformity with the decisions of the General Assembly and the Executive Committee;
  • Maintain, as far as possible, direct and constant contact with the Secretary General of the Organization.

2. Executive Committee
 
The Executive Committee (EC) meets three times a year and sets organizational policy and direction. The EC's members sit at the top level of policing, and bring many years of experience and knowledge to advise and guide us. Its role is to:
 
  • Supervise the implementation of the decisions of the General Assembly;
  • Prepare the agenda for sessions of the General Assembly;
  • Submit to the General Assembly any programme of work or project which it considers useful;
  • Supervise the administration and work of the working Committee.
 
3. Working Committee

This is the main body which oversees AAB lineups. These are selected by virtue of their expertise and experience which is considered relevant to the needs of AAB. AAB Working Committee Members carry out administrative and secretarial work of the organization.
 
The Working Committees are issue-based bodies that determine the overall public affairs strategy on legislative issues at dynamic level. During the meetings and in continuous liaison with the Executive Committee team, the members determine and execute public affairs strategies on key lobby records.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an overview of the organisation’s aims and activities including liaising with committee members
  • Provide leadership and control the flow and information at committee meetings/ Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Ensure the governing document is complied with at all times and only activities that plan to achieve the charitable purposes (aims) are allowed
  • Managing budgets and resources, including the reimbursement of expenses.
 
4.Volunteers
       
Volunteers help in conducting workshops, manage events and conferences. We train our volunteers, so they can later on help the society and                take up leadership roles.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Attending committees and meetings.
  • Keeping up to date with legislation and policy related to volunteering and making any necessary modifications to accommodate changes.
  • Working with multiple agencies across different sectors in order to establish good working relationships to influence decisions about volunteering.
  • Generating income, writing funding bids and fundraising to make projects sustainable.
  • Monitoring and evaluating activities and writing reports for funders and trustees.
  • Maintaining databases and undertaking any other administrative duties.
