WHO WE ARE !AAB is an effort to address the issues of poverty, education, human rights and health in Karachi Slum Areas.
AAB- the need of life has a Project school called ‘Minerva Education System’ in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. Around 350 underprivileged students study, the school has all the facilities and provides maximum care to all its students. AAB- the need of life also provides training to youth, teachers, volunteers, NGO workers and various individuals, helping them learn, grow and help improve lives. Our basic appeal to you is to help us achieve our aim and to save lives of the millions affected by poverty, human rights violations and negligence.

DAILY BREAKFAST'Help Us Help Them'GREAT NEWSMinerva Education System due to its promotion of Global Education and Intercultural Activities across the school curriculum, received British Council's International School Award (ISA) 2015 - 2018. Under the Connecting Classrooms Project, teachers and students throughout the year, conducted activities on child rights, kitchen gardening, cleaning the environment, tourism etc. and shared them with international and local schools. The teachers of Minerva completed Connecting Classroom online courses in relation to the project.
All these activities and their details were sent to the British Council and on 3rd October 2015 at Marriott Hotel, the school was awarded the status of 'Champion Ambassador' and received the ISA award from the British Council. The school competed with the top elite schools in Karachi. Minerva Education System also received educational scholarships for deserving students under British Council's Pakistan Scottish Scholarships 2014 - 2015. |
