Shazia Asif Khan - Chairperson /President
Shazia Asif Khan is a Motivational Speaker, Trainer and Human Rights Activist. Shazia has over 10 years of professional experience in Educational Management, Leadership, Curriculum Development, Business English, English Language Teaching, Business & Volunteer Training. She started her own not for profit (NGO) ‘AAB- the need of life’ from scratch in 2008 and since then she has been successfully running educational projects for underprivileged youth, women and children in Karachi, Pakistan. She trains her own staff, school teachers and volunteers; motivating and inspiring them to work for the underprivileged with empathy and dedication. Her project school won the ‘International School Award’ from the British Council in 2015.
She has been a visiting faculty at many prestigious universities in Karachi. She is also a Training Consultant for the British Council Pakistan. She completed her Master’s degree in English Literature & Linguistics and completed her CELTA from RMIT University, Melbourne Australia. She has also completed certifications on Global Education from University of Amsterdam and Human Trafficking from Stanford University, USA.
She has presented at several national & international conferences and delivered workshops for several Education & Business institutions on problem solving, entrepreneurial leadership, language skills, communication skills, global education, team building, conflict management, 21st century skills and critical thinking. She is a visionary leader, a great motivator and a compassionate person. Her charity work has been acknowledged in the print and electronic media of Pakistan. Recently, she presented at the ‘Cultural Entrepreneurship Conference’ in Melbourne, Australia 2018.
