Karachi, November, 17, 2012 -- The need has never been greater and it’s never been easier to make a difference to our community. Here is an opportunity to make sure that nobody goes without such a basic necessity as of learning about their rights. AAB – The Need of Life -- is inviting young individuals and professionals to understand Human rights for themselves and their fellow beings as a part of this community service project. People of any age are welcome to join us and to contribute their part to help the deprived and underprivileged people of Pakistan. The fund raised from this Seminar will directly go to the local children and adult who are in dire need of help with their Education, Health and rights issues. The program is an easy way for the citizens of our country to contribute to the betterment and well being of our society. AAB – The Need of Life -- has brought a dynamic change in the slum areas of Gulshan-e-Iqbal by providing free Education, Health care facilities and Human Rights Education to hundreds of adults and children who are mostly neglected by our society. This Seminar was the initiation for fight against Human Rights Violation, and a start of spreading the knowledge of Human Rights. Where Mr. Zeeshan Paul (Mentor NDIE), Mr. Zia Awan (Advocate “Human Rights”) and Mr. Abbas Husain (Director TDC) shared their knowledge and expertise with all of the participants. “The need to help and reach out to the neglected sectors of our society has become more urgent than ever. AAB – The Need of Life is a national non-profit organization that supports and encourages education, human rights and health. It helps individuals, groups, companies and organizations across Karachi and throughout the Pakistan to understand the importance of Human rights whether they are in the form of Education or health. More than 10 thousand people benefited from Free Education, Free health care facilities and Human Rights Education since its inception in 2007. AAB – The Need of Life is a non profit organization that supports and encourages the fundamental right to education, health and fighting for their basic rights. AAB – the need of life is keen to promote human rights through educational processes, inclusion of human rights education in the national curriculum, teaching of life skills, girl’s education, teacher training and the development and leadership training of youth especially women in Pakistan.
This seminar gathers young individuals from various professions and universities to discuss, experience and participate in activities addressing human rights education and the role of the youth to spread human rights education to the people of Pakistan. The main aim of this seminar is to raise awareness about human rights and how they can build their competencies to empower groups to address Human Rights Violations and Education in Pakistan.
