BUSHRA PASHA Born and raised in the multicultural metropolis of Karachi, Bushra Pasha initially intended to study Fine Arts but got way laid off the track and hooked up to study English Literature and Linguistics. She did her Post Graduation in English Literature and Applied Linguistics both from University of Karachi.
She has a vast teaching experience from teaching young to adult learners, she has traveled across Sindh. She has designed and taught a number of tailor made courses and organized special focus seminars. Apart from language learning and teaching she also has a considerable experience working as a writer, trainer and social worker.
Shamim Zehra has Professional Experience of teaching different courses of Economics and Commerce in various higher educational institutes as visiting Faculty since 2007. She is currently enrolled in MS (Management Sciences) from Hamdard University. She has completed MA (Economics) From University of Karachi 2004 and B.A(Honors) (Economics) From University of Karachi 2005. She is Master trainer in faculty Development program from HEC- 12th Batch. She is Certified Trainer from Thailand 5th batch of A.I.T (Asian Institute of technology), certified career counselor from British council. She has conducted training on teaching skills, time management, time building and career counseling with new advancement at K.U (Karachi University). She has conducted Youth Seminars in coordination with the Ministry of Youth, Government of Sindh, also participated in International Conference from UNESCO in Malaysia, 2009. She has worked as Permanent faculty at Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education (DIHE) for four years during 2008 to 2012, also gave her services as event coordinator. She has also prepared O-Levels examination papers for Agha Khan Board in 2005. She is currently working as Project Manager at ‘The Capacity Builder (NGO)’ since June 2012 where the core responsibilities include Project Management, Event Management, and Co-ordination with the relevant Governmental & Non-Governmental Organizations. She is currently working with Asst. Commissioner Karachi at Job Placement Bureau.
Fatima Jabeen lives in Melbourne, Australia and is currently working as trainer with Jesuit Social Services and Brotherhood of Lawrence.
Fatima also worked as an Associate Trainer at Teachers’ Development Centre and Sociay of Pakistan English Language Teachers (SPELT). She is creative person and possesses excellent inter-personal management skills. She has conducted training programs on People Management, Leadership, Human Rights Education, Life Skills, Communication skills, and has been consistent in nurturing goals towards positive results. Her core competency includes programs on corporate etiquette, Change Management & Train-the-Trainer workshops. She has managed the entire training functions for the corporate and educational sector including Content & Material development, Mentoring trainers and creating leaders. Fatima has been actively associated with people from various cultural backgrounds to bridge the areas in communication and comprehend the changing needs of an organization.
She has represented AAB – the need of life on print and electronic media of Pakistan. She was also the International Coordinator for Connecting Classrooms Project and Minerva School won the International School Award for 2015-2018.
Aliya Hasan is presently a Lecturer in Commecs College PECHS- Campus. In past she was also associated with Jinnah University for Women as a Lecturer of English Literature and Language to Bachelor and Master Students. She had been a visiting faculty at CIBES, teaching Business English and Communication to bachelor students. She has more than 8 years of teaching experience on higher level. She has attended various Faculty Development Programmes at various platforms including Commecs, AKUH, SOL and British Council.
Aliya has done her Masters in English Literature, and she is good in developing critical thinking in her students and inculcates confidence in them to speak up their mind with appropriate reasoning and clear perception.
