BUSHRA PASHABUSHRA PASHA Born and raised in the multicultural metropolis of Karachi, Bushra Pasha initially intended to study Fine Arts but got way laid off the track and hooked up to study English Literature and Linguistics. She did her Post Graduation in English Literature and Applied Linguistics both from University of Karachi.
She has a vast teaching experience from teaching young to adult learners, she has traveled across Sindh. She has designed and taught a number of tailor made courses and organized special focus seminars. Apart from language learning and teaching she also has a considerable experience working as a writer, trainer and social worker. Umaima Tahir WadoodUmaima Tahir Wadood is a journalist with over five years of experience in the field. She has covered news stories on social, women issues, and survivors of terrorism. She has also been the National Coordinator for AMAL - the Education Project, and participated in a number of professional training's. She has traveled both inside Pakistan and abroad.
She has worked at content development for national and international clients on diverse subjects. Deeply involved with Online Security for Working Journalists she had spoken on the subject at forums and delivered a training for Journalists in a media house. She has also been part of a consultative processes for Education Opportunities for Minorities in Pakistan, and creating awareness on Sustainable Development Goals in education institutions in the country. An active member of the Lahore Students Union, where she supervises internships for the Pakistan and A Masters in Defense and Strategic Studies from the University of the Punjab, she is an avid reader, and deeply interested in the Environment and animal rights issues. |
FATIMA JABEENFatima Jabeen specializes in content & project management. She is also an English trainer with 10 years of teaching experience. She has conducted training programs on People Management, Leadership, Human Rights Education, Life Skills, Communication skills, and has been consistent in nurturing goals towards positive results for organisations/schools.
She was the General Secretary of AAB for 5 years before moving abroad. She has represented AAB – the need of life on print and electronic media of Pakistan. She was also the International Coordinator for Connecting Classrooms Project and Minerva School won the British Council International School Award 2015-2018 Jamshed SiddiquiJamshed is an Electrical Engineer. He studied at NED University, Karachi, and then did his Masters in Engineering Management from the University of Technology, Sydney. He started his career in 2004 in the Middle East, as a Project Engineer in Honeywell Building Solutions, he has come a long way since then and now is working as a Senior Project Manager for the same company in Melbourne, Australia.
Jahangir Ali KhanJahangir Ali Khan is an independent Practicing lawyer for over 20 years. He specializes in Criminal, Civil, Income Tax, Sales Tax, Intellectual Property, Labour and Specially Banking law Cases. He also deals with Registration & Proceedings of Trademark, Copy Rights, Patents and Designs.
He has been associated with AAB for the past 5 year and oversees all legal matters of the organisation. |
Sadia JamilSadia Jamil is an entreprising women, working in Australia. She completed her studies from London.She represents AAB in Australia and promotes its mission and reaches out to the Pakistani community living in Australia.
Sandra FrancisSandra Francis is an enthusiastic and dedicated, and English teacher and teacher trainer with over 15 years of experience. She holds a master’s degree in English Literature from University of Karachi.
Having successfully designed curriculum for all levels, she has effectively incorporated new methodologies to make learning process interesting, interactive and a fun filled experience for her students. She has been associated with AAB – the need of life, since its foundation and is consistent in her dedication, overseeing projects and actively assisting in projects carried out by the organisation. Continuing her journey with AAB, Sandra feels more inclined towards contributing for the betterment of education for the underprivileged. She has been actively training Minerva School Teachers and is a valuable member of the main team. Mehvesh MaddaMehvesh resides in Melbourne, Australia and has recently completed her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. She is working as an Early Childhood Educator.
